Description | Five copies of a colour advert, with sound, advertising the world exclusive serialisation of Marlon Brando's autobiogaphy in the G2 section of the Guardian newspaper. The serialisation began in the Guardian Weekend section on 3 September 1994 and continued in G2 throughout the week.
All of the adverts follow the same format of clips of Brando films and a commentary of questions about Brando's life. The colour tone of the advert is blue until the final shot of G2 with Marlon Brando on the cover which is in full colour.
Commentary: "Marlon Brando was a small town boy from Nebraska. How did he become Hollywood's biggest star? Which director introduced him to drugs to improve his acting? Why did he refuse to make love to Vivian Lee? What really happened when he met mafia boss John Gotti. And why does he believe Marilyn Monroe was murdered? Now find out from Brando himself exclusively in the Guardian all this week".
Tagline: 'His Words. His Story.'
