| Description | Three versions of a colour advert with sound for the Guardian promoting a free give-away of a CD of exclusive soundtrack extracts, clips and interviews from the film 'The Big Lebowski'. The advert features footage from the film interspersed with footage of someone making a poison pen message comprised letters cut from the Guardian which says: 'The Big Lebowski CD, free with the Guardian'.
The advert ends on a shot of the Guardian, the Guide, the Big Lebowski CD and a scalpel followed by a final shot from the film.
a). Commentary: "The latest film from Joel and Ethan Cohen, the academy award-winning makers of Fargo, is the Big Lebowski. To celebrate this quirky story of ransom, kidnap, double cross and severed toes, the Guardian is giving away a CD packed with music from the film, clips and interviews.
