Description | Black and white advert with sound for the Guardian's feature promotiong extracts from poet and novelist Sylvia Plath's journals which began on 18 March 2000. The advert opens with images of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath and the following commentary: "Ted Hughes and Sylvia Path were one of the last centuary's most famous and tragic literary couples."
The advert goes on to feature close ups of a man and woman reading from Plath's journals whilst the following text appears on screen: 'Tomorrow the Guardian is publishing exclusive extracts from Plath's journals. So for the first time you'll be able to hear her story in her words.'
