DescriptionHospital scene. Central to the cartoon, dressed in a blue jacket is a skeleton lying dead in a hospital bed. At the foot of the bed, the patient board reads 'NHS' and shows graph with the line descending. To the left is Harold Wilson holding a mop, also in a blue jacket, standing next to a woman [Barbara Castle] who is dressed as a nurse. To the right, two men - one in a doctor's overall looking unhappy, the other in a suit looking back upon the scene with superior dismissal. Below the cartoon reads "There's nothing we can do - you should have fed him!"
