Description | Notebook, written mostly in longhand with some shorthand, containing notes on: Kenyan independence; Tanganyikan independence; biographical notes on Julius Nyerere and [Dr. Mama Barbro] Johansson; the Tanganyikan Council of Women; local elections in Tanganyika; education and training in government and legal administration in Tanganyika; minerals in Tanganyika; trade unions in Tanganyika; European attitudes towards Kenya and Northern Rhodesia; and dates of meetings, conferences and elections across African countries between April-June [1961].
