Description | Notebook, written mostly in shorthand, containing notes on agriculture in Kenya including: the history of the NFU Mutual Insurance Society; agricultural policy; the impact of independence; the KNFU [Kenya National Farmers' Union]; financing; standards of living; agricultural research; agricultural credit; the settlement board; minority rights and safeguards; and relations between Europeans, Africans and Asians in Kenya. The notebook also contains notes of a discussion on the future of foreign military bases in Kenya.
