DescriptionNotebook, written mostly in longhand with some shorthand, containing notes on: an IPI [possibly International Press Institute] course; the ad-hoc commission, chaired by Jomo Kenyatta, set up at the third extraordinary meeting of the OAU to discuss the political situation in the Republic of the Congo; Milton Obote; Nyerere thanking Nigerian peace keeping troops in Tanzania; tand he government and civil servants pay in Malawi.

Names featured include: JK [Jomo Kenyatta], [Moïse] Tshombe, [Kojo] Botsio, [Milton] Obote, Julius Nyerere, [Hastings] Banda and TM Skinner.

Transcribed by Rosemarie Dowsett in 2021 as part of the Clyde Sanger shorthand transcription project with funding from The National Archive’s Collaborate and Innovate Testbed Fund. The pdf transcription document also contains a digitised copy of the notebook.
