Description | Written mostly in longhand with some shorthand, containing notes on the Republic of the Congo, including: economic aid to [the Congo / Katanga]; conflict and the UN, Belgian and Soviet involvement; food distribution; unemployment; natural resources; manufacturing, mining and the economy; government debt and financial crisis; petrol shortages and UN forces including Irish soldiers. Also contains notes concerning SR [Southern Rhodesia] including Leopold Takawira and the condition of lakes and rivers in Africa.
