DescriptionNotebook, written mostly in shorthand, containing notes on the 21st Session of the General Assembly including: the relationship between Britain and Southern Rhodesia; universal suffrage in Southern Rhodesia; the removal of the SWA mandate from South Africa and establishment of UN administration of the territory; decolonisation of Gibraltar; reaction to an Israeli attack on Jordan (13 November); UNDP [United Nations Development Programme] and Indonesia; nuclear arms and treaties; and the representation of China at the UN. The book also contains notes on the 1966 gubernatorial elections in Arkansas and Georgia (pages 28 to 42).
