| Description | The Guardian printed a daily pocket cartoon by David Austin from 1990 to 2005, initially appearing solely on the front page, with an additional drawing on the letters page in later years. When the Guardian moved to Berliner format in September 2005 a single drawing, with touches of colour, featured on page two.
Files containing original artwork, arranged chronolically. Each drawing is dated and includes the page number on which it appeared in the Guardian. Contains folders for August 1996, August 1997 and then monthly folders 1998 - 2005. Digital versions of the drawings are available for 2003 and 2004 only. |
