Volume 2
Minutes of the Committee of Management of the Society and its sub-committee, 5 March 1938 to 6 December 1941, which met to discuss sickness and pension payments to individual members of staff and also reported new members joining the Society and deaths of members. Includes list of holiday and sickness payment decisions made by the sub-committee at the back of the volume, 1935-1941.
Also includes letter to C Whitmore, Secretary of the Society, from John Russell Scott, giving 6 months notice terminating the agreement between MGEN and the Society, 25 June 1941, and memorandum of terms of the dissolution of the Society.
Following the termination of the Society the volume contains minutes of the Continuing Committee of the Society which carried on administration for those who were members fo the society when it was dissolved, 3 Feb 1942 to 24 Feb 1943; and reports of annual general meetings of the Widows' Pension Fund Committee, 1943-1966. |
