Brief_Description Macbook Air model A1466, used by journalists preparing stories based on the Snowden data. Part of a collection of objects that contained copies of some of the secret National Security Agency (NSA) files leaked by Edward Snowden and destroyed on the instructions of GCHQ. The computers were destroyed using a variety of power tools at Kings Place on 20 July 2013 by a Guardian senior editor and Guardian computer expert, watched by GCHQ technicians.

This item is currently on loan to the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
