| Admin History | Under Peter Preston's editorship different sequences of records were retained for the editor from other sections of the editor's office (executive editors, deputy editors, and managing editors). When the files were removed from the editor's office to alternative storage (first the mezzanine at 119 and later off-site storage), files were placed in sugar bags and given a single sequential 'Editor's Office files' number (some large items e.g. lever arch files, expanding legal wallets were given their own individual numbers in this sequence). As far as possible the original series have been restored and this is reflected in this catalogue.
