DescriptionContains cuttings and magazine articles discussing matters related to the Guardian and its journalists generally or pieces written by Guardian reporters and contributors. An article in a 2003 edition of the Cambridge alumni magazine mentions Guardian sketchwriter Simon Hoggart and cartoonist Martin Rowson.

Other collections of media coverage clippings from September 2005 discuss the Guardian's re-launch and Berliner format as well as the performance of the paper along with various other news stories.

Includes an article from PJ Production journal and headlines from 2013 detailing the Guardian's efforts to reduce carbon emissions in their printing plates as well as reducing costs. Other articles discuss the Guardian generally such as an article concerning editorships vacancies at both the Guardian and Observer [1995] and a comment from the Daily Telegraph in 2015 discussing its reporting of allegations made against HSBC while also criticising the Guardian for its reporting. Another Telegraph article from 2003 details a YouGov poll rating the trustworthiness of journalists among other professions and public roles.

Other articles relate to individuals working for the Guardian including a 1999 interview with Caroline Marland discussing her career and efforts to improve the Observer. Another article from City AM in 2008 discusses the then chief executive of the Guardian Media group Carolyn McCall at a time when the paper was being sued by Tesco which McCall was a non-executive director of.

Also included are a July 2010 edition of Der Spiegel featuring an article on Wikileaks, two journals of the London press Club (Summer and Winter 2008) mentioing Guardian and Observer staff and a number of editions of Press Gazette, one features an article discussing the appointment of Roger Alton as editor of the Independent in 2008. Another article from 2006 discusses discusses the Guardian winning newspaper of the year at the British Aress awards.
