In few instances (e.g editor's absence from the office) responses have been sent by the Editor's secretary or deputy editor. These are clearly distinguished as they include details of the respondents name and job title, whereas responses from Peter Preston end 'Yours sincerely' with no further details following.
This series also demonstrates the change in technology used within the editor's office through the introduction of computer printed, rather than typewritten, letters in this period. |
