Description | The files contain a sample of correspondence between Martin Wainwright and readers about competitions which featured in the Diary or other subjects which featured in the column and generated significant interest.
Contains one piece (or exchange) of correspondence from each of eight files which each related to a specific competition or subject. Subjects/competitions represented in the sample include: bowler hat wearers; loofah growing; 'Those were not the days' piece; a Sir John Boreham maths puzzle; a leaves maths puzzle; a Norman Tebbet word puzzle; an order-chaos word puzzle and a mekon-Maude word puzzle.
