Description | Colour advert with sound for the Guardian. The advert features black and white footage of a man leaving a prison.
Commentary: "Gregory Charles Pearce, you have been found guilty. In accordance with section 32B of the juvenile crimes act, the court sentences you to six months inprisonment. During this time you will be subjected to acts of violence from fellow inmates, be forced to sell drugs by those whose protection you need and sexually assaulted by the man who shares your cell. At the end of your term you will leave her Majesty's care and, I hope, recommence life as a useful member of society.
The following tagline appears over the footage: 'Have we learned nothing from Feltahm? Paul Kelso investigates this Thursday'.
The advert ends with upbeat music and the following strapline which is presented in a label-like graphic: 'The Guardian. Fresh Angle. Sell by: 7/12/2000.'
