Of particular note is Kathleen's correspondence with Virginia Remington of Newtown Centre, Massachusetts, USA who paid a visit to Brighouse in the late 1930s. Both women were secretaries in their late teens / early 20s. The majority of correspondence in the file dates from 1932-33, but correspondence with Virginia dates up to 1936. |
