| Description | This sub-series contains 25 files of research notes and papers used by Hugo Young when writing 'This Blessed Plot'.
The papers include a large file of witness interviews with significant individuals to use in the book, conducted between 1987 and 1997. There are also index cards with research notes on key figures and a file of context information for the structure of the book.
Most of the remaining files are by subject or person, and contain research notes about the named individual or topic. The final two files in the series contain research newspaper cuttings from 1994 and 1995. |
