[The dog and gramophone are a reference to the 1899 painting 'His Master's Voice' which depicted a dog listening to a gramophone and was used for the logo of music brand HMV.]

News: 5 March: The National Union of Teachers gave overwhelming support to the new salary settlement giving all teachers an interim award of £120, the deal drawn up by the Burnham Committee.
