Date[c1969]
Extent1 cartoon

DescriptionA cartoon in which figures representing the TGWU [Transport and General Worker's Union], AEU and TUC [Trades Union Congress] are desperately trying to gain entry to a room labelled 'KEEP OUT'. They have brought a coffin with them, as well as a wreath that says 'RIP' and a 'From TUC' note. Beyond this door, Harold Wilson can be seen in a parody of Frankenstein where, alongside [Baron George-Brown] and [Baroness Barbara Castle], he has unnaturally brought a figure back to life. This figure carries an umbrella and a newspaper, and their constraints have been labelled as P.I.B.
