| Description | Margaret Thatcher stands on a podium with seven other conservative MP's watching in horror as a large industrial ship waving a British flag called 'British Shipbuilding' cascades down the ramp of a sea port into the sea. The submerged half of the ship is divided into two sections with 'This part lost to Japan' and 'This lost to Korea' written on large placards where the steel panels of the ship have been removed by the cartoonist, revealing its interior. A large group of British ship workers stand at the waters edge looking on in dismay. |
