Description | Original political cartoons spanning the years 1969 to 1993. The cartoons feature a number of well known politicians and public figures from these years including Margaret Thatcher, Edward Heath, John Major, Ian Paisley, Prince Charles and Muhammad Ali. They cover the major events that occurred in this period including sterling devaluation, Britain's entry into the European Economic Community, the oil crisis, the situation in the Middle East, the conflict in Northern Ireland, the Falklands War, Vietnam and the Cold War.
The series titles are Gibbard's own. Cartoon titles are taken from caption or cartoon text where it exists.
