DescriptionTed Heath is playing an organ where the stops are labelled "Councils", the music on the stand says "No", and the pipes point downwards pouring liquid into a river; a couple of dead fish can be seen floating in the river; next to Heath is a signboard saying "Today: anti-inflation recital".

News: 6 October: Local authority employers stood firm in the face of wide and rapid extension of the council workers' pay strike. About 50,000 council manual workers were on official strike and the unions planned to bring out another 100,000 employees including dustmen, sewage disposal workers, drivers, cemetery staff and abattoir employees to join the industrial action in support of the claim for a 55s. a week rise for 800,000 council workers.
