Description | The cartoon depicts a body of water captioned 'liquidation', in which two ducks, labelled 'Mersey' and 'RR' [Rolls Royce] are floating. There is an industrial area in the background. In the foreground, there is a mechanical duck on wheels, which appears to be unstable. Workers below it look on in horror and appear to be running away from it. Edward Heath and John Davies are depicted running looking on, pleased, as they send a bottle bomb, captioned 'no', into the belly of the mechanical duck.
