Description | Three frame cartoon, each frame depicts a TV screen. In the first frame a man holds several boxes labelled 'EEC'. He says 'Well, I'm prepared to swop [sic] you six untrustworthy woggy products for your one Empire...'. The next frame shows [Margaret Thatcher] holding one one with a Union Jack on it, saying 'No! No! No! I'm sticking to my Empire'. The final frame shows the original man holding the Union Jack box and pointing to it, whilst saying 'That's right! We Find seven out of ten housewives agree - it's Empire for me!' |
