Describes his greatest scoop as an exclusive on the discovery of the Titanic wreck.
Admin HistoryAlan Road began contributing to the Observer in 1959 as a freelance Welsh correspondent. He made the front pages covering the Aberfan disaster and subsequent royal visit. He also worked for the new colour magazine at its launch in 1964.
