The letters do indicate that for at least the first six months of 1959 Beloff's main base continued to be Paris. The first letters are written in January and begin with details of a skiing holiday in France followed by details of a visit to her sister, Anne Beloff, in Rome. Letters and postcards from May and June provide details of a working visit made by Beloff for The Observer to Spain. Destinations in Spain include, Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga. |
