| Description | Index book recording names of companies who advertised in the Observer between 1959 and 1967. Includes name of company, date advert appeared in the paper, the name of their advertising agent, and the space allocated to the advert (column inches). From 1961 to 1963 it also records where the company placed the same advert in the Sunday Times or the Sunday Telegraph, and from 1964-1967 also the Sunday Express. Presumably maintained by the Advertising Department of the Observer. |
