| Description | Two colour adverts with sound featuring a paperboy.
The adverts both feature the same teenage paperboy and follow a similar format. The teenager's commentary extablishes him as a social observer of the customers on his paper round, points out that there is something different about a customer who takes the Observer and finishes with a display of his sophisticated vocabulary followed by "know what I mean?"
The tagline is delivered by a male voiceover and titles over a shot of the Observer and magazine landing on a doormat.
