A mother and child are entering the hospital. The exterior of another hospital is shown as the curtains in an upstairs room are shut. A third hospital exterior is shown as a man leaves. The shot cuts to a copy of the Observer magazine surrounded by bowls of Chinese herbs. Commentary: "Why is this hospital giving herbal medicine to children with eczema? Why is this hospital testing an ancient remedy for asthma? Why is this clinic reporting cures for hay fever, epilepsy, even infertility?
