| Description | Colour advert with sound, promoting giveaway of an inflatable egg cup with The Observer.
a. The advert begins with the flashing strap line: 'Sunday 23rd (This morning)'. Shows an employee in a newsagent called 'candy Shell' discussing The Observer's upcoming inflatable egg cups giveaway. The man holds one of the egg cups as he addresses the camera whilst leaning on a stack of The Observer. The man is shown holding a copy of The Observer and an egg cup outisde the shop with 'Recorded earlier' appearing as an on-screen graphic.
Commentary: "Good morning. Since Friday evening you may have follwed the progress of this ironic, but highly desirable inflatable egg cups, from The Observer print depo in East London, all the way to here - the Newsagents! And here they are, they arrived just after six o'clock this morning, and are ready for you to come and pick up. So slip your shoes on, and pop round. If your'e out on the razza last night, then a boiled egg is just what you need.
The advert ends with the employee stood outside the newsagent smiling at the camera with a spinning on-screen graphic of an inflatable egg cup in the lower left hand corner and the following srap line: 'Free today in The Observer. This week: £1 (crossed through) 50p.'
