DescriptionPhotograph depicting the arrival of the body of Terence MacSwiney as it is returned to Cork harbour, where he was Lord Mayor, following his death on the seventy-fourth day of hunger strike in Brixton prison. Published in the Manchester Guardian on 1 November 1920, the day after his funeral was held in Cork.
