Description | Notebook, written mostly in shorthand, containing notes on: the condition of agriculture in kenya; education and training in Kenya including funding; voting and the CLA [Central Legislative Assembly]; women's rights including lack of education and training opportunities and roles in independence and nation building [in Kenya and Tanganyika?]; politics in Tanganyika including calls for independence, TANU and TFL; and the military in Tanganyika. The notebook also contains brief references to Nyasaland, SR [Southern Rhodesia] and NR [Nothern Rhodesia].
