The online catalogue allows you to find descriptions of unique
documents held in our collections. These include corporate records of the
Guardian and Observer newspapers, as well as material relating to individuals
and organisations associated with the histories of the papers. New descriptions
will be added on a regular basis as more material is catalogued.
To search the catalogue enter one or more search terms in the
box on the top right of the page, or select Advanced Search to refine your
search. Please select 'How do I search the database' from the left hand menu for more information on
searching the catalogue.
Warning: descriptions in this catalogue reproduce original terms found in archival documents, including some language that is outdated, offensive and harmful. Please see our Inclusive language statement for more information.
The catalogue is updated overnight between midnight and 12.30am (London time) and unfortunately users are not able to search it during this time.
Please note that the catalogue does not contain published
articles from the Guardian or Observer. These can be accessed online on the Guardian and Observer Digital Archive
